Hand in Hand 9/11 Remembrance

I’ve already shared my memories from this tragic day 10 years ago, but yesterday I had the opportunity to volunteer with the New York Cares organization and the New York Junior League at the Hand in Hand 9/11 Remembrance. It was a wonderful experience and incredibly heart warming to see over 5,000 people come from all over the world to remember this day, holding hands and observing a moment of silence as the bells rang at 8:46 to signal the first plane struck tower 1.
