July Workout Playlist

It’s the beginning of a new month which means fresh goals! Just in time for the many runs and workouts to help me achieve my goals is a new playlist. Whether I’m running in Central Park or lifting weights at the gym, music helps motivate me through every minute of a workout. Remember last month, when I ran the Nike London Women’s 10k? I mentioned more than once that Taylor Swift helped me power through the final mile towards a new PR!

July

This month’s playlist includes a few favorites as well as some new music which I recently discovered on Spotify. I used this playlist last week when I did my treadmill speed workout and will definitely have it plugged in my ears for Saturday’s long run in Central Park!  Whether you’re running along the beach, powering through a HIIT workout or just looking for some motivation, I hope you love this playlist!

Fight Song – Rachel Platten

Cheerleader – OMI

Biscuits – Kacey Musgraves

I Don’t Like It, I Love It – Flo Rida

Honey, I’m Good – Andy Grammer

Peanut Butter Jelly – Galantis

Are You with Me – Lost Frequencies

Love Is Free – Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique

Bitch Better Have My Money – Rihanna

Hey Mama – David Guetta

Emotion – Carly Rae Jepsen

Budapest – George Ezra

Tell me – Am I missing any of your favorite songs?

Judge me but I’m OBSESSED with “Heavy Crown” – Iggy A and Ellie Goulding and “Pretty Girls” – Britney Spears and Iggy A. OK also Florence + The Machines “Ship to Wreck”. Obsessed.

Music is such a workout changer for me- if I don’t have something good to listen to, I practically can’t run! I just added Love is Free to my playlist this weekend and you just reminded me to add Biscuits! I love that song 🙂 xoxo!

    I am currently addicted to:
    Ghost by Ella Henderson
Should’ve Been Us by Tori Kelley
I like the beats to both of them.

Thanks for the recommendations!! I’m running a half in Portland, Maine this weekend and just added Fight Song and Biscuits to my playlist! This summer, I’m loving See You Again. I, also, love it when Run Run Run by Michelle Lewis pops up – I find it very inspirational to run to.
